The National Parliament Building, or Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, was designed by the world-renowned American architect Louis Kahn. Usually, a visit inside the parliament is about an hour or less. It is also possible to arrange a long time visit permission for Architects or someone having a special interest in this building. Any foreign and local nationals must obtain permission through a specific application form, which you will receive from us or the parliament’s official website. Visitors should fill up and send us the signed Application form along with a copy of their passport and visa.
All visitors are advised to avail of a visa from their home country to attach the visa information to the parliament visit application form. Any visitor planning for a visa on arrival and willing to visit the parliament within a few working days of their arrival may not assure a visit due to incomplete information on the prior application.
