Journey Through the Lens in Bangladesh

A photography trip to Bangladesh will elevate your enthusiasm for photography to an entirely new level. After spending a few days in Dhaka, exploring the off-the-beaten paths of Barisal, Bagerhat, and Narail, and concluding with two days in the lively city of Chittagong. This itinerary has been carefully crafted only for people with photographic knowledge and interests. This trip can be an assessment to plan longer projects in Bangladesh in the near future. We are waiting to have a chance to give you a walk through our playground.

The initial segment of our expedition passes through the vibrant metropolis of Dhaka and its environs. The day of arrival is dedicated to acclimatization, familiarization with the local environment, and preparation for the forthcoming photography excursion. The subsequent fortnight will be devoted to capturing the diverse culture and intricate cityscape that Dhaka so triumphantly presents. A photographic feast awaits, ranging from historical architectural miracles of antiquity to contemporary splendors. We further explore by capturing the fundamental nature of Dhaka’s cultural legacy, which is a temporal progression reflected in the city’s thoroughfares and inhabitants.

By means of a delightful overnight launch voyage across the Ganges estuary, we shall arrive at the captivating locales of Barisal, Bagerhat, and Narail. Images of beautiful scenery and interesting cultural experiences make these days a photographer’s dream. A multitude of local life, ancient mosques and temples, and breathtaking rivers, backwater river trips, floating markets, all provide photographic opportunities. This tour exposes us to a unique pastime: otter fishing in Narail, which combines an element of adventure with photography to create a visual narrative with every shot.

Chittagong is a dynamic metropolis that harmonizes the splendor of nature with the realm of commerce. Chittagong will present us with an abundance of photographic opportunities, each showcasing a unique aspect of the area. Your imagination is the limit when it comes to the shipbreaking industry, fishing village, ancient and modern architecture, bustling flea markets, and bazaars of Chittagong.

Ethical Considerations in Photography

Throughout your photographic tour, be mindful of local traditions and privacy. It is good to seek permission before photographing people, and always practice sustainable and ethical photography. Bangladeshi people love to be in the photo of anyone, meeting a foreign person, and taking photos with them would make a lovely story for them to share with friends and families.

Photography trips in Bangladesh offer not only stunning pictures but also a deep look into the heart of this very different country. The fusion of conventional allure and contemporary appeal furnishes an optimal backdrop for photographers aiming to encapsulate the essence of a country.
