Dhaka Architecture Tour – 7 days

$1450 tour starting at

Dhaka architecture tour is an opportunity to interact with architects, architecture, art, culture, and people on a week-long trip. While visiting an architectural site, visitors often forget the life and culture around it. This trip is the perfect blend of architecture and fascinating Bengali culture. We named this trip “a journey through the living architecture of Bangladesh.”

Experience the vibrant blend of architecture, art, culture, and people in Dhaka and its outskirts over seven days. This tour, aptly named “A Journey through the Living Architecture of Bangladesh,” offers a unique opportunity to explore contemporary and historical architectural marvels while you travel through the rich Bengali culture. From the masterpieces of Muzharul Islam to the innovative designs of modern architects like Marina Tabassum and Kashef Chowdhury, you’ll witness the evolution of Bangladeshi architecture firsthand.

Led by an English-speaking guide with deep connections to local architects, this tour includes visits to iconic sites such as the Bait Ur Rouf Mosque, Arcadia School, slum upgradation, and world-class architecture that are currently on the UNESCO shortlist. Each site visit is complemented by interactive sessions with local architects, providing insights into the socio-economic and cultural contexts that shape these structures. The itinerary is dynamic, adapting to the latest developments and ensuring a fresh experience every time.

Due to the need for various permissions, a minimum of one month’s notice is required to organize this tour. Whether you’re a professional architect or a student, this tour promises an enriching experience, blending architectural exploration with cultural immersion. Join us for this special journey and connect with the global community of architects in Bangladesh.
